Noah Dowell will become a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday October 23rd, at 3 p.m. at The Temple. He was born Aug. 24, 2007, in Nashville.  His parents are Jon and Shana Dowell.  His grandparents are Monika and Lester Katzel of Rochester, N.Y., Denise and David Dowell of Nashville, and Arlene Taylor and Wayne Benson of Chapel Hill, N.C. 

For Noah’s mitzvah project, he works to increase voter turnout in young voters and minority communities. 

An eighth grader at Meigs Middle School, Noah enjoys playing soccer and the cello as well as politics.
