Observer Editor Barbara Dab wins a 2022 Simon Rockower Award for Excellence in Journalism 

The Jewish Observer is now an award-winning newspaper. At this year’s annual American Jewish Press Association conference, Observer Editor Barbara Dab won Second Place in the prestigious Simon Rockower Awards for Excellence in Journalism. The recognition was in the category of Interfaith Relations Reporting for her article titled: “Circle of Friends Unites Jews and Muslims for the Holidays and Beyond.” The article first appeared in the January 2021 issue of The Observer which can be found online at www.jewishobservernashville.org on the Archives page.
